Description
Pair of Regency Penwork Bookcases each rectangular with round corners. The tops satinwood with pen work decoration, featuring scenes of Neptune with border of gryphons and urns, the other with a group bringing gifts for the king with same borders. Lower case veneered in rosewood each with two shelves, plinth base, bracket feet.

Condition: Good. Repaired: Some restoration to tops including penwork but overall good. Signs of old insect damage but very sturdy and sound. Repaired and replaced veneer losses etc. Some restoration to the painted decoration and signs of old insect damage. Overall, in good useable condition. Crackling of varnish on tops.
