Bronze Fountain of a Maiden and a Swan by C.S Paolo depicting a young nude woman holding an Amphora vase with a swan with its wings up standing beside her,all in a verdigris patina. Signed on base C.S. Paolo and Cellini Bronze Works , NY. Artist is Cartaino Sciarrino Paolo . Born in Palermo, Italy in 1882. Died 1955. Paolo immigrated to America and had a studio on Fifth Avenue in NYC with his brother then moved to Summit NJ. This bronze has sat on a Connecticut estate for many years.
